As U.S.Product Manager, you will be accountable for continuing the successful development of the AC Wallbox, product lines and establishing the product roadmap, and guiding the development teams, project leaders and external partners on technical specifications and product features and enhancement.ABB E-mobility is leading the transition of the EV charging industry from a unidirectional to a vehicle to grid enabled ecosystem with amazing commercial opportunities for homeowners, fleet operators and grid operators. • Will become the recognized SME in this market segment by focused learning of the market of bidirectional charging in V2H and V2G applications; you'll coordinate ABB's activities to further drive the adoption of this technology with operators, car manufacturers and energy management solution providers
• Responsible for ABB's global AC Wallbox product roadmap and offering, addressing a market segment in which electrical vehicles are parked for multiple hours
• Provide directional guidance to project engineering and product development teams to ensure that ABB's AC Wallbox offering generates superior value to the operators as well as the EV drivers and supports advanced integration with smart buildings, load management equipment and IT solutions
• Initiate innovation of the overall business models applicable for the charging solution
• Support the regional sales teams in their approach to the customer, offer support in bidding processes and have direct contact with the largest customers, partners & accounts
• Analyze competing and complementary solutions in the market from a commercial and technical perspective and judge the relevance to our product offeringYour background
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (preferably Electrical Engineering) is required with 10 or more years of product development and product management experience is required, with a minimum of 5 years of experience in the Electrical Vehicle Industry
  • Demonstrated experience in product management and a thorough understanding of the development lifecycle of products (specification, architecture & design, implementation, testing, market release, maintenance & support, etc.)
  • Must have strong knowledge of commercial sales processes such as introducing, selling and supporting products in the market in a highly international context
  • Having the ability to challenge external suppliers and developers on proposals and offerings is required
  • Proven experience in the electric vehicle charging market is highly beneficial
  • Must be able and willing to travel internationally, up to 35%
