About the Team
We are looking for a Senior Program Manager to join our team who
can champion Program Management for -Hardware -product development
across multiple platforms and -product categories such as TV, Sound
bar and Accessories. Candidate must have a high level of experience
and understanding of the product development lifecycle process.
This person must be highly organized, detailed-oriented and possess
the right skill set to lead overall NPI schedule assessments, drive
cross-functional teams and ODM Partners to schedule execution for
both Hardware and Software committed milestones. PM will assess
product development at ODM manufacturing plants during all key
development stages. This position requires someone with strong
communication skills across technical and non-technical audiences
as well as internal and external partners. The ideal candidate must
be a critical thinker with a strong technical background who has
strong oral and written communication skills; excellent problem
solving, leadership, and analytical skills; a proven track record
of project delivery; and comfort interacting with all levels of
management. Applicant should be an expert in project management
software and have experience using tools like JIRA, Confluence,
SharePoint, Smartsheets, Microsoft Project, PowerPoint, etc. As a

growth opportunities. This position oversees Program Management for
-SOC Software -product development across multiple platforms and
-product categories such as TV, and Sound bar products. It involves
working with ODMs, platform providers, software developers and
quality assurance testers to produce and deliver quality Software
-platforms for consumer electronics applications. This position
requires someone who can provide both technical and personal
leadership. This candidate should be technically proficient with TV
and Audio platforms and have a working knowledge of Linux and
Android embedded architectures. Applicant should be expert in
project management software and tools like JIRA, Confluence,
SharePoint, Microsoft Project, PowerPoint, etc. The teams
delivering the software are globally based, so we expect candidates
to have excellent communication skills and experience working with
globally distributed development teams. As a member of the product
team, this position must have the skill set to do overall schedule
assessments in order to manage vendors and to communicate extremely
effectively both internally and externally. As a critical

What You Will Do
- Manage all ongoing TV, Audio & Accessory Hardware & Software
programs across multiple vendors
- Strategize and develop plans that identify detailed program
scope & schedules for all critical milestones with Product
Marketing Management, Product Management, Legal, Engineering and
Quality Assurance team members
- meet corporate business goals
- Drive the cross-functional execution of hardware consumer
products on time and overall company objectives
- Schedule, participate and chair program team meetings with
cross-functional leads as required
- Work closely with Industrial Design teams, Product Managers,
Engineers, Factories, and other internal & external teams to ensure
newly developed products are manufactured to the highest quality
and deadlines are met
- Collaborate with Software Program Managers to plan, schedule
and coordinate software platform development in sync with Hardware
launch timelines
- Work with local and remote teams to deliver supporting software
and services in sync with launch timelines
- Generate detailed program development plans with
cross-functional teams' consensus that
- Manage and track all 3rd Party App Partner & Compliance
Certification activities and schedules
- Review Vendor & App Partner open issues, drive corrective
action plans, align on Software release schedules and tracking SW
sign off
- Participate in JIRA bug scrubs with all stakeholders such as
SOC, ODMs and Internal team members
- Participate in daily and sometimes nightly -ODM/SOC product
meetings
- Work with the Quality/Eng/Prod Mgmt teams on product issues and
driving resolutions in a timely manner
- Assist members of functional organizations by providing
direction of program activities, prioritizations, and issues
resolutions.
- Communicate regularly with senior management on status, risks
and change control
- Present weekly program status to upper management as
required
- Interact with Product Marketing and Product Management to
define program plans and meet NPI schedules and goals
- Work closely with cross-functional teams (incl. Business Dev,
Business Planning, Prod Marketing, Prod Mgmt, Eng., Quality)
throughout the planning and execution phase
- Ensure lessons-learned from predecessor programs are
incorporated into new programs
- Identify process improvement opportunities across teams, and
drive improvement
- Identify risk areas and develop mitigation plans as required to
meet quality, schedule and cost targets
- Participate in roadmap reviews
- Coordinate & align with Software Program team to deploy major
software releases to consumers
- Understand user conceptual requirements and needs
- Set high standards for personal and team interaction.
Facilitate the resolution of complex team issues, build consensus,
maintain process focus, overcome barriers, encourage and inspire
other team members and foster relationships with other team
leaders
- Strengths in problem solving, issue-resolution, ability to work
in a deadline-driven work environment, attention to detail, and
ability to multitask
About You
- Passion and experience delivering high quality products. This
PM will be instrumental in ensuring product success
- Detailed understanding of the embedded software development and
testing for consumer electronics; hands-on experience with actual
software development is required
- Extremely detailed & clear communication Skill
- Clear understanding on schedule deadlines and knowing when to
incl. management team on critical issues
- Proven track record of managing programs in high tech
industry
- Advanced knowledge and proficiency with Microsoft Project,
PowerPoint, Excel and Word
- Proven ability to plan and deliver quality hardware and
software
- Program management, driving and communication skills,
effectively managing projects and working with global
cross-functional teams
- Ability to relentlessly track and follow-up on open issues and
action items
- Ability to lead and work collaboratively in a highly dynamic
environment
- Must be very good with logistics, planning, well organized,
detailed, -and resourceful
- Self-starter with the ability to work through ambiguity and
evolving requirements
- Working with multiple program tasks, setting the right
priorities, and understanding program needs
- Fluent with using Jira issue-tracking software application
- Fluent with team collaboration & testing software applications,
such as Confluence, TestRail, Microsoft Teams and Slack
- PMP Certification is highly desirable
- Must be able to travel worldwide to vendors during planning and
critical development stages
- Maintain a safe and clean working environment
- Understand and follow company rules and regulations
- Perform all other duties as assigned or required
