Your work will have real-world impact, and you'll be supported in achieving your career goals.**Location/Division Specific Information**This position is located within the Clinical Next-Generation Sequencing Division of the Life Sciences Solutions Group at Thermo Fisher Scientific.Location: remote USA**How will you make an impact?**You will be responsible for product launch and communicating our portfolio of Clinical solutions to in vitro diagnostic applications customers. You will be a member of our North America Market Development Team, responsible for setting the strategic direction and tactical implementation of activities and deliverables supporting key product lines and application areas, and executing-to-plan in cross-functional teams. You will drive all aspects of the downstream marketing effort for product lines focused on Clinical application areas.**What will you do?**+ Develop strategic, multi-channel integrated marketing plans for areas of responsibility, including customer segmentation, competitor analysis, business trends, market opportunities, sales funnels, and staging and pacing of tactical programs+ Guide the development of copy and creative content for Next Generation Sequencing Clinical Oncology markets, appropriately positioning products within compliance guidelines, while conveying strong value propositions and clear product differentiation+ Create and implement appropriate marketing content across multiple channels, including social media, web, video, print, and more+ Evaluate effectiveness of channel programs and improve upon them+ Develop sales force training and customer education material in collaboration with product management, R, regional marketing, and commercial teams+ Develop and manage a robust lead generation funnel+ Coordinate with global functions to ensure consistency with brand profiles and company standards+ Collaborate and ensure alignment of marketing plans and sales training materials among Product Management, Regional Market Development, Commercial Partners, and other stakeholders+ Successfully engage with advertising agencies and marketing program managers to deliver high-quality assets, including, but not limited to, creative direction and content for print and digital collateral, PR, social media, customer-facing presentations, North America tradeshow properties and promotional materials+ Maintain campaign metrics dashboards to measure the effectiveness of marketing activities+ Manage marketing budgets and optimize the promotional mix on campaigns to achieve a high return on investment+ Act as a brand ambassador, understanding, upholding, and communicating our multi-brand strategy in all aspects of our marketing programs+ Develop and cultivate external experts as collaborators and speakers+ Maintain relevant knowledge of competitive activities and develop effective countermeasures.+ Lead team of 2-3 marketing managers and marketing specialists**How will you get here?****Education**+ Bachelor's degree in Genetics, Molecular Biology, other related science fields required+ Master's Degree or PhD strongly preferred**Experience**+ 6+ years experience in sales or marketing roles of increasing scope and responsibility in the genomics, molecular biology, or molecular diagnostic arenas preferred.+ Experience marketing IVD products is desirable.+ Digital marketing experience with proven campaigns in display advertising, search engine marketing, social, video and automation approaches+ Experience in developing successful lead generation programs using multi-channel strategies to drive funnel fulfillment+ Experience in people leadership**Knowledge, Skills, Abilities**+ Self-starter and collaborative within project teams, and successful track record working in complex, matrix environments+ Exceptional skill managing complex marketing projects with a strong attention to detail+ Adept at building and maintain relationships with customers and key opinion leaders+ Strong creative intuition on design and messaging that resonates with customers and an ability to learn from previous campaigns to improve on performance+ Must be able to manage project scope, budget and schedule to achieve timely completion of project deliverables+ Excellent written and oral communication skills+ Experienced and adept with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook+ **Approximately 10-15% domestic and international travel****About Thermo Fisher Scientific**Thermo Fisher Scientific Inc.
