Circle, weekly farmer---s markets throughout the DMV, and new shops
on the way. We're looking for new team members with positive

& GOOD VIBES. We are hiring an Accounting Manager The Accounting
Manager performs the key accounting functions for Call Your Mother.
The Accounting Manager provides technical expertise for complex
accounting tasks so Call Your Mother can continue to deliver on its
values of sourcing locally, paying staff equitably, and being a
good neighbor. As a CYM leader, you'll make an impact by:

and guests Responsibilities : Accounting: Performs the month-end
close process, including reconciling bank statements and creating
journal entries to achieve accurate and timely financial reporting
Analyzes and reviews weekly, monthly, and yearly results of the
company with leadership Oversees accounts receivable functions
including catering and wholesale invoicing, deposits, collections,
and revenue recognition Tracks depreciation and investor capital
balances for book and tax purposes Strategy: Supports leadership in
preparation of monthly and annual financial plans Provides advice
on how to increase revenue and reduce costs Effectively and clearly
communicates potential risks in a timely manner Proposes action
plans to ensure that annual financial objectives are attained
Performs ad-hoc financial analyses and generates weekly operational
reporting with assistance from our data team Works with CFO to
track metrics used to determine staff bonuses Accounts Payable:
Owns accounts payable process from start to finish, pays accounts
payable in a timely manner based on vendor terms Assists CFO to
track cash flows to make informed spending decisions Maintains
compliance of employee credit card policies Manages accounting
software and trains users to ensure accurate and timely accounts
payable reporting Payroll: Processes payroll on a bi-weekly basis,
following review by Human Resources and CFO Identifies
payroll-specific internal controls and process improvements
Compliance: Supplies external tax accountants with any data needed
to file state and federal tax returns Files sales tax returns
Interprets and applies accrual accounting policies to ensure
compliance with applicable standards Financial Controls and
Systems: Tracks cash sales and petty cash spending Oversees
accounting process and makes improvements to improve accuracy and
efficiency Develops and enforces internal controls to protect
company assets and ensure accurate financial reporting Updates
accounting procedures to match company---s growth Ensures staff is
sufficiently trained on their accounting tasks Assists with
implementation of accounting-related software as needed
Skills/Experience Degree in accounting, finance, or a related
field, or commensurate experience in a similar role required
Bookkeeping and payroll experience required 3 years or more of
related experience required Prior experience using Restaurant 365
(our accounting system) preferred Certified Public Accountant
designation preferred Advanced Microsoft Excel/Google Sheet skills
and comfortable working with large data sets Analytical skills to
identify trends, make operational decisions, and solve problems
Understands the accounting needs of a growing restaurant group that
operates a commissary kitchen Proven experience supporting
executive-level management and driving interdepartmental
collaboration Ability to prioritize, lead discussion, and
coordinate objectives among a diversified group of stakeholders
