ABOUT THE TEAM:
Smart Building's strategy is to introduce to the market a
compelling new offering that will create a truly integrated
building operating system. Our building operating system will
consist of Smart Access Control systems, Smart IOT devices, and
HSIA (High Speed Internet Access) for apartments that enable
operators and residents to manage secure convenient access from
sidewalk to sofa.
WHAT YOU--LL DO:
As an IoT Project Manager you will report to a Sr. Manager of Tech
Ops supporting both seasoned project managers through
administrative functions and managing up to 10 projects from end to
end to drive revenue through the installation of smart devices
and/or access. - -As an IoT Project Manager at RealPage, you'll use
your deep understanding of technology, logistics, and years of
project management experience to manage highly strategic and
complicated projects from early-stage sales all the way through
final implementation. The work you do each day will help Sales,
Supply Chain, Field Service, Customer Success, and Support be
successful. This position is specific to the access control market,
and you will act as one of the resident experts for that area of
business as it continues to grow. Your expertise and experience
will ensure that the implementations we do stay on schedule and
within budget. Since the problems you will be solving may not have
been encountered, it will be imperative you are able to work
systematically with various stakeholders to ensure the success of
each project you manage.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Mid-level responsibilities to ensure a positive experience for the
customer throughout the installation/deployment of contracted
devices to align with the project schedule and to deliver within
budget while evaluating opportunities to increase delivery schedule
and project profitability.End to end project management
responsibility for up to twenty (20) projects, which includes
working collaboratively with clients and internal departments to
accomplish objectives, while providing status updates effectively
to all stakeholders.Coordinate with STRATIS partners, distributors,
integrators, and property managers to ensure a successful
deployment of STRATIS services and equipment.Set clear goals and
expectations to sub-contractors, partners, and end
users.Develop/maintain a network of professional relationships
within our industry.Work well within a team environment to create a
superior customer experience on every installationCommunicate
consistently in a clear and concise way, and adapt to
client-specific needs by providing options/alternative
solutionsSupports processes for invoicing, billing, pay
applications, OCIP/CCIP and other financial services that will
ultimately drive efficiency and support our clientsAssist with
special projects as requested, including custom reports and special
data requests and/or explanationsMake recommendations on process
improvement that will aid the department in meeting its goals and
objectives
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES:
Prior experience in property management, project management or
coordinator experience (large job experience a plus)College Degree,
or High School Diploma and relevant experience required Willingness
to travel up to 20% for training and project site visits when
neededExcellent interpersonal skills, and written/verbal
communication skills required Be digitally competent; able to
use/learn Slack, Salesforce, Taskray, Email, Word, Excel, Google
Sheets & Docs, Adobe Acrobat, web forms, and other common
applicationsStrong organizational skills, and a high level of
attention to detail requiredAbility to work well under pressure in
a fast-paced environment dealing with complex -issues on an
on-going basis -requiredStrong working knowledge of MS Office
(Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint)Must be self-motivated, able to
work both independently, in a group and deadline drivenMust have an
affinity for troubleshooting and problem solving
PREFERRED KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES:
Preferred knowledge of BacNet and/or VRF System integrations
