Technology Project Manager is responsible for driving the
development of the Education Solutions technology strategy and
implementation roadmap. They will develop project plans, build
project schedules, manage project meetings, communicate progress
and status, enforce quality management, and identify, respond to,
and manage risks, issues, and changes, and manage technology
project activities, and ensure all project phases are documented
appropriately. -You'll enjoy the flexibility to telecommute* from
anywhere within the U.S. as you take on some tough
challenges.Primary Responsibilities:
- Drive technology vision, strategy, and roadmap development
- Engage appropriate enterprise-wide stakeholders to enable
awareness and alignment
- Know the market to effectively identify and frame new
technology products
- Define solutions with high-value requirements, a compelling
business case, clear product positioning, priority, and strategic
impact
- Partner with stakeholders to enable successful development,
delivery, and adoption of technology solutions
- Service as the product champion and apply deep expertise to
credibly represent, manage, and engage with business(es)
- Successful execution projects/programs with varying degrees of
complexity, change and visibility
- Demonstrate ownership of the end-to-end project management
process. Lead project teams and manage all activities in a project
lifecycle. (initiating, planning, executing/controlling &
closing)
- Provide project management expertise in areas including project
scope definition, risk identification, project methodology, and
meeting facilitation
- Inquire to understand issues, bring necessary parties together
to obtain information, hold individuals accountable on timeline to
meet project goals
- Effectively build and maintain relationships with teams across
the organization
- Ensure that project documents are current and complete, as well
as appropriately managed and stored
- Conduct project postmortems and creates lessons learned reports
to identify project elements that were both successful and
unsuccessful
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement through mentoring,
feedback, and metrics
- Ensure seamless transition from project ideation and strategy
through implementation to the business owners as needed
- Ensure that all project dependencies/linkages are identified
(e.g. technology, regulatory, legal) and aligned/addressed, and
identify potential needs for subject matter expertise /
consultative support
- Identify potential risks / issues / barriers to execution, and
collaborate to develops specific plans to mitigate risk / resolve
issues / remove barriers
- Connect granular tasks to longer-term strategic objectives
- Prioritize in a time-crunched, fast-paced environment -You'll

other roles you may be interested in.Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in the area of Information Technology and/or
equivalent related experience
- 7+ years of project/program management experience
- 5+ years combined IT experience in project, program and
portfolio management -
- 5+ years health industry experience and/or in a large complex
matrixed organization experience
- Experience leading large- and small-scale projects- accountable
for defining milestones, timing, team roles and responsibilities &
delivering outcomes on time
- Experience working with internal and external
stakeholders/resources to move projects and programs forward and
overcome any challenges -
- Experience with report outs and presentations to sr. leadership

- Experience negotiating with key leaders to overcome barriers to
drive the initiative forward
- Advanced analytical experience in evaluating and analyzing
data
- Advanced level knowledge of MS Office
- Full COVID-19 vaccination is an essential requirement of this

- PMP Certification
- Experience working with Care Delivery Organizations
- Experience with an educational organization
- Knowledge of Risk Adjustment, CMS 5 Star, HEDIS, and other Pay
for Performance Programs
- Working knowledge of Optum businesses
- Successfully managed a large technology portfolio or program
with multiple business stakeholders
- Able to balance competing demands and operate with a sense of

is $97,300 to $176,900. The salary range for Connecticut / Nevada
residents is $97,300 to $176,900. Pay is based on several factors
including but not limited to education, work experience,
