Account DirectorWe are searching for an Account Director who can provide leadership across our account management team that has experience working on B2B and B2C campaigns, web, and social initiatives. The Account Director role is perfect for candidates who have an entrepreneurial spirit and are seeking an agency environment that combines a start-up mentality with the support, resources and backing of a 20+ year leading digital agency. You will oversee several integrated accounts and lead an exciting new year-long project planning a multi-facetted centennial celebration. You will be primarily responsible and accountable for the overall management of the accounts, including planning, project implementation, account profitability and growth, client relationship management, and oversight of the account team.Requirements/Skills:9+ years experience (agency experience required)Experience in executing creative for integrated media campaigns, websites, and organic social for both B2B and B2C brandsProven track record of delivering engaging programs that create connections between brands and their target audiences that exceeded client KPI'sExcellent client management and communication skills able to set realistic client expectationsExperience in data transformation space a plusAbility to consistently produce results while meeting deadlines and juggling multiple projects in a fast-paced environment both as an individual contributor, and a team leader Ability to participate in new business pitches and represent the agency's offeringsDemonstrated ability to coach, initiate change, and collaborate across groupsExceptional time management and organizational skillsBrilliant verbal and written communication skills - can command a roomPrevious management or leadership experienceProficiency in PowerPoint, Word, Excel, and MS OfficeWhat are the desired attributes for this position?Be an inspiring, passionate leaderBe a resourceful, tenacious problem solverBe a compelling, persuasive communicatorBe a creative thinkerBe a digital/tech nerdResponsibilities:Account Leadership & Strategic PlanningWork closely with the VP and Group Account Director to lead the overall strategic planning of the accountDirect all aspects of client business from strategy through execution with attention to quality and detail and the foresight to identify (and circumvent) potential red flagsDeeply understand, appreciate and influence brand insights, customer segmentation, and target needs to assist in the development of thoughtful and strategic marketing plans and executionsManage, mentor and lead a team by providing coaching, training and identifying areas for growthServe as primary client contact with senior clients, working directly on strategic initiativesDeliver effective oral presentations (over the phone and in person) with poise and confidenceProject LeadershipInspire, lead and motivate a cross-departmental team to deliver top-notch work that delivers on the brand strategy and drives measurable resultsOrchestrate partnerships with internal teams and external agencies to manage priorities, schedules, and deliverablesLead the junior team on the development, presentation, and implementation of individual projectsReview project budgets and schedules and guide junior teams in managing themProfessionally manage client feedback, direction and expectations that results in trust-based client relationships and YOY revenue growthFiscal managementCollaborate with the VP, AD and the General Manager to lead/revise the client/agency contract, retained scope of work and overall communications programLead the development, writing, and presentation of incremental project proposals, scopes of work, and staffing plans (for projects beyond the contracted retainer)Provide accurate financial management of client business from scoping to forecasting and budget reconciliationSupport Senior Management in new business opportunities as neededAbout AMP AgencyAMP Agency is a full-service, integrated marketing agency with offices in Boston, New York, Seattle and Los Angeles.
