Assistant Account Manager (Dealer Protection Group)

Job Description:

Dealer Protection Group, or DPG, was founded in 1999 to focus on the insurance needs of Automobile Dealers. As a full-service broker, DPG has access to a number of top-rated insurance companies, service providers, and ancillary programs to offer a fully loaded, top-of-the-line package for dealers. DPG, now owned by Acrisure, has a current need for a full-time Assistant Account Manager.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

  • Assist Producers and other Account Managers as needed
  • Provide guidance and share information with other team members
  • Complete Certificates of Insurance
  • Process change requests and submit to carrier
  • Request Loss Run information from insured and/or carrier
  • Process endorsements
  • Process and submit claims to insurer
  • Communicate with and Develop business relationships with clients
  • Obtain information from client in order market new and renewal policies
  • Special projects and other duties as assigned

    Education And/or Experience
    • High School Diploma or the recognized equivalent, required
    • Property & Casualty insurance license, required
    • Must possess or be willing to obtain professional insurance designation appropriate for this position, such as CIC, CISR, CPCU
    • 3+ years of Commercial insurance experience preferred
      Technology Skills
      • Working knowledge of Epic or similar agency management software experience, preferred
      • Possess strong administrative and computing skills, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Power Point)
        Other Qualifications
        • Good written and verbal communication skills
        • Possess strong working knowledge of insurance products and terminology
        • Self-confident to make sound independent decisions
        • Ability to successfully interact with a variety of people
        • Demonstrate strong Customer Service skills
        • Strong attention to detail
