REPORTING TO: Sr. Director, Head of Marketing & Partnerships
SCOPE OF POSITION & DESCRIPTIONThe manager, partnership development is a full-time position reporting to the Sr. Director, Head of Marketing & Partnerships. This positions primary role is to generate revenue for USA Water Polo, via sponsorships, advertising, broadcasting/streaming revenue and vendor programs by leverage a combination of creative, strategic, and analytical skills. This individual will manage all key aspects of the partnership development sales process including outreach, creative ideation, sales presentations, proposal writing, and pipeline management.The ideal candidate will be a proven self-starter and self-motivator with a commitment to professionalism and organizational excellence.______________________________________________________________________________



ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND BASIC DUTIES

  • Perform proactive outbound prospecting to generate leads for new sponsorships, advertising, broadcasting/streaming revenue and vendor programs
  • Create, present, and sell through integrated sponsorship packages that align with
  • sponsor goals and objectives
  • Maintain all partner contracts
  • Execute all partner contract renewals
  • Manager the creation and ongoing maintenance of all sales materials, and presentation tools and platforms
  • Aggregate and report sponsorship and sales trends around the sports industry
  • Achieve individual sales target as set forth by Sr. Director, Head of Marketing & Partnerships and CFO





    QUALIFICATIONS
    • 4-Year college degree
    • Minimum 3+ years work experience in sales/marketing with proven track record of
    • success
    • Previous sports-related corporate partnerships experience required
    • Strong attention to detail
    • Comfortable presenting/speaking to executive groups
    • Professional demeanor and self-motivating personality, eager to succeed and increase revenue
    • Strong verbal and written communication skills with an emphasis on business writing skills
    • Excellent ability to establish rapport with others and ability to build strong interpersonal relationshipswithin the corporate community
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
    • Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends
    • Drivers license and transportation required
