POSITION SUMMARY: Jacuzzi Group is reinventing itself and its iconic brands. The brand team is responsible for designing the consumer experience and all content that is consumer facing within this mission. This includes conceiving and producing creative content, graphics, video, and ultimately environments for multiple brands, each with its own identity, guidelines, strategies and KPI's. We are seeking an artistic, strategic, and self-motivated Creative Director to help lead this work. We are seeking someone with strong experience using digital and multi-media engagement to bring brands to life for consumers and to drive business value. Must have a proven track record and portfolio to support. SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES: Working with a team, and several agencies, the creative director will be primarily responsible for the following: Overall Job Duties

  • Elevate our brand experiences to the highest level of quality and impact
  • Translate marketing objectives into clear creative strategies
  • Manage the creative process from concept to completion
  • Lead the creative team in the production of all marketing materials across all media
  • Understand multiple brands and design to support each and their unique customers
  • Participate in campaign planning, generating ideas that will meet the needs of our brands and businesses
  • Meet with internal teams or upper management to explain campaign strategies and solutions
  • Ensure visual communication and brand standards are met
  • Manage the Visual Design team and partner with the Video team
  • Be hands on: producing work and guiding work through the creative team
  • Work closely with multidisciplinary project teams
  • Review work, troubleshoot and provide feedback to creative teams
  • Help hire and training creative staff
  • Cultivate the career development of staff members, including designers, and copywriters
  • Responsible for continuous learning to keep skills and industry knowledge current KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
    • Highly skilled at setting strategic creative direction while understanding the consumer experience and expectations
    • Passion for storytelling and creative and strategic writing, supported by excellent visual communication elements
    • Keen eye for great design through imagery and text, across all media both emerging and traditional
    • Deep understanding of details and how to craft unique, deliberate executions that achieve the desired result
    • Understanding uniqueness of various departments and adapting approaches to different audiences and brands
    • Brings fresh perspective and creativity with a strong point of view while remaining consistent with our various brand and communication styles
    • Scripting, storyboarding, budgeting, aligning deadlines, and selecting optimal media for projects to coincide with campaign planning
    • Planning of video shoots; scouting, and selecting shoot locations
    • Collaborates on video editing and production to ensure consistency for each brand
    • Supports video team to ensure content meets client and campaign needs before final publication
    • Accountable for ensuring content meets our internal standards, guidelines, and is accurate
    • Ensures execution of quality work, on time, with exceptional attention to detail
    • Selects and hires additional talent (contractors) as needed
    • Deep understanding of how to differentiate and communicate different brands to consumer segments
    • Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite and working knowledge of video and editing programs required, as well as working knowledge of MS Office Suite, QUALIFICATIONS:
      • Bachelor's Degree in design, marketing, advertising, communications or a related field required
      • 10 years of related experience with 7+ years of creative direction in an agency or design-focused corporate setting
      • 5 years of experience leading successful experiences and campaigns delivery, from vision to execution
      • Proven experience delivering integrated content across channels: digital (web, mobile, social,) print, 3D
      • Demonstrable leadership in visual thinking, creative ideation and positive collaboration
      • Excellent collaboration skills that cultivate trust throughout the organization
      • Successful leadership of creative teams and partner ecosystem
      • Strong creative vision with an understanding of business objectives
