Job Description:

Job Summary: This position is responsible managing all aspects of the site acquisition process from site identification and qualification through the completion of zoning/permit approval for multiple sites for assigned programs


  • Manage the Site Acquisition project staff to ensure timely and accurate completion of required tasks and report progress
  • Interface directly with the customer and preside over both external and internal deployment calls
  • Maintain production records and confirm compliance with customer standards
  • Interact with the RF engineering and construction staff to ensure compliance with all customer, landlord, jurisdictional, governmental, and industry standards
  • Onboard and train department new hires
  • Maintain production records for assigned programs
  • Assist with the preparation of customer billing
  • Complete site candidate identification packages
  • Coordinate A&E design walks and other site visits with various departments
  • Negotiate lease, amendment, license, right-of-way, and easement agreements with property owners
  • Complete leasing packages and other documentation required by the customer
  • Research and obtain information regarding all applicable planning, zoning codes, and regulations affecting the development of a site
  • Prepare and complete all necessary zoning applications and supporting documentation
  • Organize and conduct presentations for neighborhood meetings or public hearings as required
  • Other duties as assigned

    Supervisory Job Duties: Carries out supervisory duties in accordance with the Company s objectives, policies, and applicable laws. Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to, planning, assigning, and directing work, interviewing, hiring, training, evaluating performance, rewarding and disciplining employees, addressing employee concerns, and partnering with Human Resources to resolve escalated employee matters.


    • Qualifications: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty mentioned satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills, and/or ability required.

      • Education:
      • Associate degree (A. A.) in a relevant field from a four-year college or university

        • Experience:
        • Five years cellular site acquisition experience
        • Two years supervisory experience
        • Knowledge of site acquisition process and real estate and zoning laws

          • Technical Skills:
          • Computer and Microsoft Office proficiency
          • Ability to read blueprints
          • Ability to comprehend legal documents
          • Ability to provide quality audits for project and site-specific documentation

            • Soft Skills:
            • Highly organized and detail oriented
            • Strong verbal communication skills
            • Ability to work independently and as a member of various teams
            • Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment under strict deadlines
            • Negotiation and closing skills
            • Ability to lead, teach, train, and motivate staff

              • Physical Requirements:
              • Must be able to pass pre-employment screening that includes background and drug testing
              • Must have a valid driver s license and a driving record that meets Company requirements
              • Must be able to sit at a desk for 6-8 hours per day
              • Must be able to work on a computer for 6-8 hours per day
              • Must be able to travel up to 50% of the time, including short notice travel
              • Must be able to stand for long periods of time on varied surfaces
              • May be required to work long and unpredictable hours
