One of our top clients is seeking a Creative Project Manager to join their team!The Creative Project Manager is responsible for managing the creative workflow for the Golf Division. This includes working closely with Golf marketing, product, and sales clients to understand needs and objectives, and to help establish project requests, timelines and clear deliverables. Specifically, this includes overseeing project input, intake vetting, establishing/implementing deadlines, assigning responsibilities, monitoring, and summarizing progress, preparing status reports, and production and sourcing of external deliverables. In summary this role: Acts as a partner to other creative team members and the Golf business unit using problem-solving and resource management skills to deliver customer-focused solutions on time, on budget, and to agency-quality standards.Maintains the internal project management system, reviews, and coordinates projects with the Art Director, Copywriter and Designer to resolve incomplete requests from clients and provides brand-appropriate solutions.Maintains relationships with internal partners and external vendors to ensure customer satisfaction, quality control, and timely final project delivery. ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIESTo perform this job successfully, an individual must perform each essential duty and responsibility satisfactorily: Maintains, collects, updates, and follows up on specific details with Art Director, Marketing Director and their staff to input project requests and creative briefs into the Project Management system for new and on-going projects within the department. Works directly with the Marketing Director to prioritize the overall project queue. Helps manage weekly status meetings with creative, marketing and product teams. Informs and provides project updates and addresses concerns and issues that need clarification or prioritization.Coordinates daily with the Art Director and design staff to determine status and any difficulties/complications of all projects within the department. Uses problem-solving and interpersonal skills to seek out project details, changes, and revisions, and resolve issues or missing information to provide clear direction to the creative staff. Proactively problem-solves with creative, marketing and product teams to ensure smooth progress for all client projects. When possible, resolves issues with proactive project management skills. Uses great negotiation and people skills to manage client and creative conflicts related to revisions, workloads, or timing/bandwidth issuesContributes to fundamental tasks such as sourcing pick-up files, folder structure set-up, file naming, and SOP (standard operating procedures) training basics to help the Creative Group reduce workloads amongst the design staff.Requests, sources, collects, and reviews project specifications for outside bids, quotations, and cost estimates with Director Creative Operations, Art Directors and Marketing Director, Product and Sales and staff. This includes projects such as photography, video, print, in-store, experiential, etc.Coordinates with designers to get artwork produced and assists with collection, pre-flight and release of files. Responsible for learning the on-going implementation and utilization of the Project Management systems. Provides hands-on training and support for new internal Business Unit partners, onboarding designers and general users. Helps with Project Management tool/software tips and tricks and is an overall advocate of the system and how to use it.Responsible for maintaining a job log for project tracking and individual time tracking.REQUIRED EDUCATION & EXPERIENCEBachelors degree in Marketing or related field preferred.Minimum of 1-3 years of experience in account management, production management, traffic management, or related areas with ad agency or corporate in-house creative department.Skilled with Apple computers and working knowledge of Adobe CC related software applications; InDesign, Illustrator & Photoshop) for basic production/design, pre-flight checks to collect, package, and troubleshoot files for release.Solid working knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)Is familiar with Agile Project Management methodology and understands the role of Scrum Master. Previous experience with digital asset management, brand portals, and/or enterprise servers and software preferred.Previous experience with enterprise level project management systems, preferably Workamajig.OTHER QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS & ABILITIES:The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required.
