The Intellectual Property Risk Management (IPRM) Senior
Professional will be part of a new team tasked with formalizing a
governance model to minimize risk associated with unauthorized
access to and use of CoreLogic intellectual property (IP). The
governance model will include monitoring and oversight of CoreLogic
processes, products, data, and associated access by internal and
third party entities (e.g., employees, vendors, channel partners,
customers) to ensure protection of CoreLogic's intellectual
property (IP). In collaboration with BUs and Functions, the IPRM
team will lead the creation and maintenance of a CoreLogic IP
inventory and act as a central point of approval for changes that
can impact CoreLogic's IP risk profile. The IPRM team will
establish a governance body comprised of leaders from across
CoreLogic who are designated to be responsible for IP risk
oversight and monitoring. This governance body will address
identified risks and drive mitigation efforts for those risks.
Further, this governance body will have established routines,
including reporting and escalations to Executive Committee, which
will be managed by Enterprise Risk Management team resources.
The ideal candidate will be professional and an exceptional team
player who is results-oriented, understands how individual actions
contribute to the broader team goals andtakes pride in their work.
This individual will have a broad perspective to problem-solving
and should excel in their ability to support processes that ensure
appropriate levels of governance and consistent oversight, through
proactive collaboration and engagement with key stakeholders across
corporate functions, business segments, clients and vendors.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Support the day-to-day execution of oversight activities with
- Collaborate on creation and implementation of processes to
drive continuous improvement of business functions that align with
intellectual property protection framework.
- Collaborate on the development and ongoing maintenance of
document templates to ensure complete and accurate collection of
business line intellectual property asset information, including
associated protection controls.
- Work with business line resources to develop and maintain
intellectual property asset documentation.
- Support intellectual property enforcement related actions
within the IPRM team.
- Work with our global content management team to develop and
maintain IPRM process documentation including but not limited to
pertinent policies, standards, governance models, and program
- Participate in theincorporation ofnew business functions,
systems and processes into the intellectual property risk
- Contributor of data analysis and reporting for business line
leadership and executive visibility.
- BA/BS degree or equivalent experience
- 4+ years proven experience in risk management, preferably in
the area of intellectual property
- Ability to communicate clearly to various levels of management
(including executive management), across various business
- Capability to manage multiple streams of work
- Excellent project management and prioritization skills
- Knowledge and ability to think creatively, proactively, and
- Experience working in a complex, cross-functional global
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
