Job Description:

We are looking for a talented Vice President, Marketing!This position will be responsible for leading the internal marketing team and managing a comprehensive strategic approach to marketing and advertising at CU Direct for our market facing brands Origence and CUDL. Responsible for marketing strategy, planning, and management of advertising (both national and regional), direct marketing, digital marketing, inbound /outbound marketing, product marketing, acquisition & demand generation, sales enablement as well as other types of marketing to accelerate market awareness, growth, and engagement across multiple verticals. In this fast-paced role, this leadership position is responsible for the overall marketing direction and management providing vision, strategy and daily oversight of the Marketing Team. This position will be responsible for collaborating with the Brand and Communications Team, Event Marketing, Product, Sales, CX, and the Senior Leadership Team to formulate and execute effective go-to-market strategies as well as ongoing integrated marketing.--The individual will be an agent of progress, innovation, and change - energetically and proactively seizing opportunities for the company.What You'll Be Doing: Marketing Strategy, Planning & Management Develop, and execute, marketing strategies and plans that support corporate objectives and product sales.* Develop and manage the strategic marketing plan to achieve corporate, product and sales goals* Develop strategies and plans for inbound/outbound marketing and acquisition programs, including integrated campaign management, database and email marketing, advertising, social media marketing, webinars, nurture and engagement programs, account-based marketing, outbound call and email campaigns for sales teams, pipeline and sales funnel acceleration marketing. * Lead, manage, and maintain marketing competitive research, market intelligence, market conditions, and buyer insights* Manage and maintain product information, plans, roadmaps, insights, product positioning, and battlecards for the Marketing team* Develops and manages calendars for product marketing, advertising, demand generation marketing, and event marketing * Collaborates with the Creative Studio (our internal creative team), agencies, and event marketing providing strategic direction and insight in execution and development of marketing* Identify and implement metrics to ensure business objectives are met and modify strategies as appropriate* Proactively share results and reporting, consistently seeking and implementing effective campaigns. * Represents the company, brand, and products at tradeshows, with customers, prospects, partners, advisory groups, the press, and industry analysts.Product Marketing * Develop and manage product marketing plans and overall product marketing * Works closely with Product, Sales, CX and Creative to define product positioning, messaging and target buying personas and buying influencers* Lead, plan, manage and cross functionally collaborate to facilitate the launch of new products, product features including positioning, messaging and tactics to drive awareness, lead generation & adoption * Develop and manage marketing plans for existing portfolio of products building successful marketing playbooks for each product family to achieve sales goals* Collaborate with Sales and Product to define buyer segments and targets* Collaborate with Sales to develop and manage buyer segmentations, targets, contacts and listsSales Enablement* Partner with Sales to ensure positive impact of various corporate marketing programs* Collaborate with Sales Management leadership to deliver on the sales targets and support the sales plans with integrated marketing assets, tools and programs. * Partner with Sales team to manages the development of marketing materials to effectively sell, present and pitch our products and services.* Manage and optimize customer lifecycle from prospect to loyal customer and ensure a consistent product and brand experience across the organization and our product set.* Deliver regular reports on all marketing/sales metrics.Team Leadership and Departmental Relations Develop and motivate effective marketing team and maintain strong interdepartmental relations.* Effectively lead and manage the marketing team to achieve organizational goals, marketing overall, product marketing goals and sales enablement. * Lead, manage, inspire and coach a team of integrated marketers, product marketing, and marketing operations to plan, manage, coordinate, and implement the execution of successful marketing campaigns* Collaborate with Chief Marketing Officer, Vice President of Brand and Communications, internal Creative Studio, Head of Events and Event Marketing, as well as third party agencies to successfully implement marketing strategies and plans * Creates a sense of trust, mutual respect and teamwork withing the marketing organization * Actively collaborates with Sales, Product, CX, Senior Leadership as well as various internal stakeholder groups to achieve organizational goals * Attract, hire, train, and lead a team of marketing professionals, building on our existing in-house marketing talent and outsourced expertsBudget Management & Operations Development & management of the annual marketing budget, calendars and marketing operations* Plan, manage, and maximize overall budget, campaign budgets, and related budgets to accomplish organizational and sales goals* Negotiate and manage all media buys and marketing/advertising-related sponsorships and contracts. * Track budget and all marketing and campaign expenditures against plans and identify areas for mid-course corrections to remain within budget. * Manage marketing reporting, tracking, performance dashboards, * Manages internal marketing communications, marketing updates, marketing roadmaps, and marketing calendarsLiving the Values. Experience:* Eight years' marketing experience with at least four years of broad management experience.* Experience and strong understanding of b2b marketing, product marketing, or SAAS marketingSpecialized Skills:* Requires an understanding of all areas of marketing communications including brand management, inbound and outbound marketing, web and digital communications, sales and lead management, product marketing, demand generation, sales enablement, event marketing and management, advertising, creative services and social media.* Inspiring leadership style and ability to lead, inspire and influence others across the organization with highly developed strategic planning and relationship management skills* Excellent communication skills. Clear, concise and compelling storyteller across written, verbal and visual formats* Strategic & creative thinker.
