Responsibilities:

  • The IT controls operations manager is a pivotal role focused with ensuring that Rivian's IT controls are functioning effectively, are audit ready and understood by the various controls owners.
  • Educate the application and system owners on the IT controls needed, help devise and constantly improve the controls, while ensuring execution of the controls in a timely manner and keeping up with any internal assessment cycles for Rivian.
  • Build relationships Qualifications:
    • Experience with implementing sustainable, audit-ready processes to support IT controls such as access and change management
    • Coaching application owners on IT control requirements, related risks and key process components
    • Partner with application owners to develop creative and effective solutions to mitigate risk and successfully remediate any audit issues
    • Project manage control implementation and remediation efforts across applications
    • Conduct quarterly & annual reviews of respective IT controls across applications and compile results for internal and/or external audit review.
    • Provide guidance and/or periodically assess implemented IT controls for compliance against Rivian policy
    • Influence constructive changes/improvements in processes and policy
    • Regularly collaborate with application owners, IT Governance, Internal Audit and External Audit
    • 4+ years of IT controls experience.
    • Communicate with all levels of technology and operational staff, assist in creation and follow methodologies, creating clear, concise deliverables
    • Willingness to work in a fast-paced environment
    • Guide the organization in establishing policies, standards, and procedures which foster security built-in
    • Be constantly attuned to the rapidly changing threat landscape and lead efforts to adapt the organization's controls.
