This is what you'll do:

  • Reporting to the Sr. Director, IT Infrastructure and supporting the Rivian retail, service, and charging station locations throughout North America
  • You will lead an IT support team consisting of desktop support, audio-visual, and network administration professionals who manage and maintain the day-to-day operation of all commercial locations
  • You will collaborate closely with teammates within the IT organization as well as key BU partners to establish the standard technology stack and the IT operating model for the commercial space
  • You will ensure that IT SLA targets are met and continually improved upon
  • You will be the primary stakeholder for all IT projects related to the commercial space, including the rapid buildout of hundreds of sites
  • You and members of your team will travel frequently to visit commercial sites to meet site leaders and to manage maintenance activities
  • You will develop and maintain a monitoring solution to ensure that the health of all commercial sites is continually tracked and issues are quickly resolved
  • You will support all aspects of the IT service management process in relation to commercial domain
  • Ensure compliance to key regulatory, security and organizational policies and procedures
  • Engage, collaborate, and communicate effectively with variety of stakeholders to deliver the services
  • Define and establish right size processes to enable productive use of resources THIS IS WHAT YOU'LL NEED:
    • 5+ years of managing an IT support team for a retail or multi-location company with white-glove customer service demand
    • 5+ years of experience in desktop support, AV, and network support
    • 5+ years managing a distributed team within a 5000+ employee global organization
    • Bachelor's degree is a related field is strongly desired
    • Experience with monitoring and management tools in a remote support environment
    • Ability to travel frequently (-50%)to sites and to manage travel schedules for your team
    • Knowledge of conferencing, telephony, and PoS systems for retail
    • Excellent communication skills and the ability to effectively collaborate with business partners such as Facilities, Design, Service, and Charging teams to ensure that all IT-related requirements are met and services delivered as expected
