Your Role: The Director Change Management is responsible for working with the VP of IT PMO & Business Operations on global transformational projects in support of Corporate and country efforts. This person will partner with the VP of IT PMO & Business Operations to create a vision to support the necessary behaviors that drive of standardization practices and adoption of new processes and tools across Ingram Micro. This person will identify the behavior modifications required of the change effort, create and direct the change management methods and techniques and pass them down to a team to implement to ensure adoption of the new processes and technology. This includes execution by the change management team, as well as working with country associates who will participate in change management activities. This role is responsible for ensuring Ingram Micro projects and change initiatives are on time and on budget by increasing employee adoption, usage, mitigating business risks and collaborating with the business to derive the stated business objectives and value. This person will focus on bringing together the vision of the VP of IT PMO & Business Operations along with the people side of change - including changes to business processes, systems and technology. The primary responsibility will be creating the vision and roadmap so that the team can implement and monitor change management strategies and communication plans that maximize employee adoption and usage and minimize resistance. Setting the Vision and Planning: Work with the VP of IT PMO & Business Operations, country leaders, and various PM's/project owners for each project to assess the current environment and recommend drivers for change; implement the future vision established by the organization in collaboration with global CCEs and corporate leadership; identify gaps between current and future state and create an OCM Plan, which will include but is not limited to: stakeholder assessments, training and communication plan, leadership alignment plan, readiness and sustainment plan; work with PM up front to identify change metrics End Results: Integration of change management activities into all planned changes to ensure smooth transition and adoption Monitor: Monitor the activities of the change management team to ensure there is a successful implementation of various projects; execute the OCM plan and prioritization of activities set by the VP of IT PMO & Business Operations and local business teams where appropriate, including an effective and efficient communications plan; attend training to offer insight and redirection as needed. End Results: Ensure accurate and effective launch and communication of expected changes Post Implementation: Monitor the effectiveness of the implemented change, including tracking to the desired business outcomes and value. Provide guidance and re-direction to the team as needed to increase adoption rates and minimize risks; proactively monitor and measure the OCM journey; collaborate with business leaders to address problems and gaps or delays in adoption; End Results: Evaluate progress against plan and adjust strategy accordingly to ensure a seamless transition. What you bring to the role: - Master's Degree with project management experience and consulting (Big 4) experience. - 8+ years of experience leading change management - creating change management efforts for enterprise technology projects, while providing advice to stakeholders and leaders. - 6+ years of experience in a large (preferably global) corporate environment. - Prosci or other related change management certification preferred. - Detailed understanding and knowledge of change management principles, methodologies and tools. - Strong process orientation and familiarity with project management approaches, tools and phases of the project lifecycle. - A working knowledge of large-scale technological implementations. - Experience creating and leading communication and change management plans. - Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced, constantly evolving environment and exhibit excellent multi-tasking skills. The ability to effectively influence stakeholders/project teams and to be well-skilled in both oral and written communication is required. - Must possess the ability to understand and articulate the complexity of business processes, and build/develop practical communications plans based upon those needs. - Must possess strong business acumen, encompassing the ability to see the 'Big Picture' within a complex, multi-faceted organization. - Must be proactive, self-directed, and skilled at facilitating meetings by utilizing effective presentation skills. - Excellent teaming, interpersonal, influence, and analytical skills are required. - Excellent written and oral communications skills. - Working knowledge of the following software programs: E-mail systems; MS Office Suite; Visio, and MS Project * Position will require up to 30% travel This is not a complete listing of the job duties.
