Wholesale Banking provides financial solutions to businesses across the United States and globally. Our four major business lines include Corporate & Investment Banking, Commercial Banking, Commercial Real Estate, and Wells Fargo Commercial Capital. We also have groups in credit risk, group risk, finance, marketing, human relations, and the Wholesale Chief Operating Office that support our businesses.

Commercial Banking provides local services and decision-making, a comprehensive suite of products, and industry expertise to serve the diverse financial needs of Business Banking, Middle Market, and Government and Institutional Banking customers. Commercial Banking is structured with three regions, East, Central and West, in addition to a Specialized Industries group and Chief Operating Officer Team. The Commercial Banking team is comprised of experienced and accomplished relationship managers and industry specialists working together to bring the full range of Wells Fargo's services to customers from offices across the United States and Canada.

The Relationship Manager 5?position is an advisory role that provides industry knowledge and?expertise to the Commercial Banking Waste & Recycling Industry Group's clients and prospects. The Advisor?provides this expertise in concert with?Commercial Banking Offices (CBLs, BDOs, RMs, LTMs, etc.), WFCF, WFEF and other Wholesale units around the country to leverage their industry expertise and experience to benefit the clients and prospects, including?assisting in relationship management and prospecting efforts as well as in their credit structuring and approval processes. The Relationship Manager/Advisor will frequently call on clients and prospects with the local teams and?various other Team Members. Their expertise includes consulting on a CBO?s prospect selection and analysis, key risk identification and mitigation issues, and client underwriting analysis/activities. They deliver industry expertise and credit astuteness directly to clients/prospects, Commercial Banking relationship teams, their management and also to Loan Supervision.

Location is flexible.

Team members support our focus on building strong customer relationships balanced with a strong risk mitigating and compliance-driven culture which firmly establishes those disciplines as critical to the success of our customers and company. They are accountable for execution of all applicable risk programs (Credit, Market, Financial Crimes, Operational, Regulatory Compliance), which includes effectively following, and adhering to and if applicable Wells Fargo policies and procedures, appropriately fulfilling risk and compliance obligations, timely and effective escalation and remediation of issues, and making sound risk decisions. There is emphasis on proactive monitoring, governance, risk identification and escalation, as well as making sound risk decisions commensurate with the business unit?s risk appetite, and all risk and compliance program requirements.

Required Qualifications

--- 7+ years of account management experience, sales experience, or a combination of both

--- Account relationship management experience
--- Experience consistently delivering strong sales performance
--- Comprehensive knowledge and understanding of negotiating: interest rates, price, terms, and collateral requirements
--- Comprehensive knowledge and understanding of risk management
--- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
--- Comprehensive knowledge and understanding of commercial or specialty group: lending, loan servicing, products, and credit practices
--- Strong credit analysis skills
--- Strong organizational, multi tasking, and prioritizing skills

Other Desired Qualifications

--- 10+ years of commercial banking experience in sales
--- Experience calling on top executives of both public and private companies.??
--- Ability to demonstrate environmental industry knowledge, the proven ability to apply that knowledge, and the ability to ask applicable questions of clients and prospects.??
--- Excellent communication skills are needed to have strong knowledgeable dialogue at a very senior level with the clients/prospects, as well as with senior bank management. These discussions occur at the owner/CEO and CFO levels as well as at the Commercial Banking Leader and Market Executive levels inside Wells Fargo.?
--- A strong ability to collaborate with various teams across Wells Fargo, as well as to provide clear, crisp communications to all levels of management.???
--- Experience with cash-flow type lending credit analysis, including risk identification and mitigation as well as a strong ability to insure industry-based reputation checks for prospects of Wells Fargo.?
--- Strong experience in understanding the appropriate credit structures that fit the risk appetite of Wells Fargo and also serve the customer?s needs. This includes the ability to assist in credit agreement negotiations and execution working directly with?Wells Fargo team members and frequently directly with clients/prospects.
