Job Description Job Description The Quality Inspector is
responsible for performing incoming and in?process inspections to
ensure all purchased and manufactured components meet required
specifications. This includes using precision measurement tools,
interpreting technical drawings, maintaining accurate inspection
records, and supporting both QA and manufacturing teams in a
regulated environment. The role also requires proper handling,
identification, and documentation of materials. This position is
onsite in Irvine or Tustin, CA, 5 days per week (possible Saturday
work) with 1–3 hours of required overtime per day. first and second
shift. 1st Shift WITH OVERTIME: 1:30am-3:30pm PST NO OVERTIME:
5:30am-3:30pm PST 2nd Shift WITH OVERTIME: 1:30pm - 3:30am PST NO
OVERTIME: 5:30pm - 3:30am PST Day?to?Day Responsibilities Perform
incoming and in?process inspections on manufactured and purchased
components per drawings and control plans. Use properly calibrated
gages and precision measurement tools (micrometers, verniers, dial
calipers, hardness testers, surface testers, preset gauges).
Prepare and maintain component history records and incoming part
documentation. Ensure all materials are properly identified,
documented, and segregated. Process and segregate non?conforming
materials per procedure. Support QA with technical assistance on
measurement systems. Provide assistance to manufacturing teams as
needed. Work with and understand ESD (electrostatic discharge)
devices. Maintain a safe and compliant work environment. Perform
other duties as assigned. REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE High
school diploma. Minimum 2 years of QA/QC experience with on?the?job
training. Extensive hands-on experience using precision measuring
tools for high?tolerance components. Strong proficiency in
blueprint reading and interpreting tight tolerances. Familiarity
with GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing). Ability to
perform basic math (whole numbers, fractions, decimals).
Familiarity with machine shop environments and processes. Ability
to ensure product quality in a highly regulated environment and
maintain Device Master History record integrity. PC skills
including Word, Excel, Access, and exposure to ERP/manufacturing
data systems. NICE TO HAVE SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE Technical training
or relevant certifications. Experience operating a CMM; ability to
program CMM equipment (training may be provided). Broader
understanding of manufacturing data systems or advanced inspection
tools.
