Job Description:
A company is looking for a Transmission & Interconnection
Engineer - Battery Storage.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct steady state power transmission system analysis and manage
generator interconnection processes
Develop and validate power system models for battery energy storage
systems and ensure compliance with grid requirements
Participate in interconnection negotiations and provide technical
solutions for transmission and distribution grid requirements
Required Qualifications
Minimum BA/BS in electrical engineering; master's degree preferred
with a focus on Power and Energy Systems
Two to five years of professional experience in the power and
energy industry, preferably in renewable energy
Strong background in power systems and proficiency in power system
modeling software (PSCAD, PSLF, PSSE)
Expertise in organized markets outside of ERCOT (e.g., CAISO, SPP,
MISO, PJM)
Demonstrated experience with inverter-based plant modeling and
power flow analyses
