Job Description:
A company is looking for a Geospatial Application Engineer.
Key Responsibilities
Build Infrastructure as Code (IaC) pipelines using AWS tools for
public-facing web applications
Create user-centric front-end experiences that enhance
accessibility to geospatial data
Develop high-performance web interfaces for USGS map and data
products
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in a related field and 2 years of experience in
the field or related area
Proficiency in Python
Expertise with AWS tools including AWS SDK, AWS CLI, AWS Lambda,
AWS S3, and AWS EC2
Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) pipelines,
particularly using Gitlab Pipelines
Familiarity with ArcGIS Pro, ArcPy, ArcGIS Enterprise, and ArcGIS
Server for spatial data management
