Salesforce DevOps Engineer (Remote)
As a Salesforce DevOps Engineer working with the Weedmaps team, you will be empowered to contribute to our products in meaningful ways. We cover an array of users, from business owners to consumers, and constantly strive to improve the experience for each segment using cutting-edge technologies and processes. We are a cloud-native organization with 100% of our services running on Kubernetes in AWS. We also leverage observability, monitoring, CI/CD automation, and custom tooling to push multiple production releases daily.
The impact you'll make:
Develop, implement and maintain highly available, highly scalable cloud infrastructure to support the Salesforce SDLC
Be proactive about systems maintenance, performance, monitoring, and capacity planning.
Leverage our CI/CD pipeline to push infrastructure changes from Pull Request to Production.
Collaborate with your teammates in the DevOps, Development, and Enterprise Applications teams to provide creative solutions to product, development, and business needs.
Work as part of the Engineering team 24x7 on-call shift rotation to troubleshoot production, and performance issues, including off-hour maintenance as required.
What you've accomplished:
3-5 years of working in cloud-based infrastructure and Salesforce Release Management
Ability to read and interpret and Apex, SQL/SOQL/SAQL code
Solutioning experience across Sales and Service Cloud
Ability to design for processes that are efficient and solutions that are scalable
Results oriented, highly organized who can handle multiple competing priorities in a fast-paced agile environment
Database Technologies: SQL, SOQL
SF Deployment: SFDX, Change sets, SF Metadata API
Version control tools: Git, Bitbucket
Build Automation tools: Auto Rabit, Bamboo, Jenkins, Maven, Apache Ant
Additional Skills: Experience in any programming language (Python, Java), test automation, AWS cloud, Code coverage, Unit testing
Ability to learn fast and be adaptable to environments and change.
Must be good at verbal communication and diplomacy.
Must be capable of self-managing. Prioritization and time management are an absolute must.
Computer science or another engineering background
Experience with CI tools such as CircleCi, Jenkins, Travis, Drone, Semaphore, CodeFresh, Copado, etc.
Experience with monitoring and observability with tools like Prometheus, CloudWatch, DataDog, and Grafana
Experience with GitOps and ArgoCD.
The base pay range for this position is $123,000.00 - $136,000.00
