Evaluations.STRUCTURAL PROJECT ENGINEER JOB SUMMARY In this
position, the Structural Project Engineer is responsible for the
designing and detailing of structural components for
building/structure permit submittals. The Structural Project
Engineer completes tasks under the direction and supervision of a
Project Manager or Senior Project Engineer.STRUCTURAL PROJECT
ENGINEER JOB DUTIES - Develops design plans for a variety of
engineering projects. - Performs calculations for components of
structures. - Creates construction plans and details for structures
conforming with Cannon standards. - Listens and communicates
effectively with staff to maintain a team atmosphere. - Works under
budgets and timetables assigned by the Senior Project Engineer or
Project Manager. - Participates in professional and community
activities.Requirements: - Bachelor of Science Degree in
Architectural or Civil Engineering. - EIT required. - Minimum of 2
years' experience in structural analysis, design, and detailing of
structures. - Proficient knowledge of the California Building Code
and ASCE 7. - Knowledge and experience in concrete, steel, and
masonry structural systems. - Proficient knowledge and experience
in finite element design software. - Proficiency in AutoCAD is
