We are seeking a Structures Engineer III to join our growing team.The Engineer III - Structures will be responsible for preparing and/or reviewing portions of plans, calculations, specifications, and cost estimate documents for railroad and highway structures projects. The Engineer evaluates, selects, and applies standard techniques, procedures, and criteria to perform a task or sequence of tasks for conventional projects with few complex features. This position also collaboratively uses judgment to determine adaptations in methods for nonroutine aspects of assignments and works on small projects or portions of larger projects.Primary Duties:Review and manage calculations and design details to produce construction plans that meet the project scope on schedule and budget.Assist Senior Designers and Project Managers in meeting client expectations.Coordinate design decisions and participate in follow-up processes and resolutionsUnder direction of Senior Designers and Project Managers, candidate may design and draw technical details of project related documents utilizing CAD software.Perform various assignments requiring application of standard techniques, procedures, and criteria to carry out engineering tasks. Assignments are designed to further develop judgment and understanding of professional and ethical responsibilities.
