As an Environmental Engineer, you'll support stormwater and environmental permitting and compliance projects. You'll have the opportunity to support the development and implementation of environmental compliance and management solutions for our clients. Based in one our Southern California offices, you'll have the opportunity to conduct both field and office work; this role requires the ability to work with teams to coordinate general environmental compliance during project planning and execution. During your time with us, you'll have the opportunity to support the project management teams on commercial and Federal projects. You'll support the delivery of environmental and stormwater compliance projects. Responsibilities may include developing and implementing SWPPPs and/or site stabilization plans; conducting site inspections, stormwater sampling, desktop evaluations, and/or on-site training; preparing related documentation and reporting.   • Bachelor's degree in Civil, Chemical or Environmental Engineering or other related field from a U.S. accredited college or university
  • Relevant environmental compliance experience
  • Experience with stormwater requirements and Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plans (SWPPPs) in California
  • Registered Professional Civil Engineer (PE) in the State of California
  • Construction General Permit Qualified SWPPP Practitioner (QSP) and/or Qualified SWPPP Developer (QSD) qualifications (or interested, willing, and able to obtain within 6 months of hire)
  • US citizenship Ideally, you'll also have:
    • Additional relevant certifications such as Certified Erosion, Sediment and Stormwater Inspectors (CESSWI), Certified Professional in Erosion and Sediment Control (CPESC), Certified Professional in Storm Water Quality (CPSWQ) and/or Industrial Stormwater Practitioner (QISP)
    • Experience with the California Stormwater Multiple Application and Report Tracking System (SMARTS)
