Whether you are just starting your career or in need of a challenge, we recognize, develop, and empower talent!What you will be doing:The Lead Integration Engineer will lead, architect, engineer, and support various integrations with Helen of Troy---s global ecommerce websites built on Magento 2 platform. This role works with various services and technologies, like Adobe and Google Analytics, Email Marketing solutions, ERPs, Order Management Systems, Third-party logistics, various ETLs to integrate them into the global Direct-to-consumer ecosystem. This key role communicates with internal and external partners to agree on project requirements, scope, and timeline, provides suggestions on the architecture and implements the integrations according to the team quality standards and best practices. This position works directly with other Software Engineers (Backend and Frontend), DevOps Engineers, Lead Engineers, Project Managers, and agencies to build, maintain, and improve integrations with the ecommerce websites.We enjoy our work as much as we enjoy working together and want leaders who can get things done while having a positive influence on our workplace environment. We are seeking a quick-learner, highly adaptable solution architect / tech lead who enjoys collaborating with others on identifying secure, reliable and functional solutions.   • Execute implementation of integrations and further improvements, develop new integrations, enhance and maintain existing integrations
  • Implement project architecture to include gathering requirements from partners, offering solutions, discussing limitations, assessing timelines, scoping and diagramming problems and solutions, maintaining architecture diagrams and documentations, Identifying and eliminating redundancy
  • Carry out issues resolution and health monitoring of the integrations, troubleshooting, root cause analysis and resolution implementationSkills needed to be successful in this role:
    • Architecting and implementing a number of software integrations
    • Knowledge of various programming languages, such as Java, PHP, C++, JavaScript
    • Experience in the field of middleware frameworks like SOA, API, ETL and Web Services based integrations
    • Solid grasp of various API interfaces: REST, SOAP, GraphQL, Sockets
    • Solid experience with various data transfer mechanisms: FTP, SFTP, FTP, HTTP, HTTPS
    • Understanding of security mechanism such as OAuth, SAML, Single Sign On, etc.
    • Understanding of GDPR principles
    • Experience with pulling and processing data out of data analytics tools. For example: Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics
    • Understanding of Tag Manager solutions
    • Proficient in troubleshooting systems and identifying root cause of performance issues in Prod/QA/Dev environments using tools like NewRelic, Papertrail
    • Optimizing the integrations for better response time and higher efficiency
    • Strong knowledge of SQL or other database query languages
    • Solid understanding of database concepts and optimization best practices
    • Experience with creating technical diagrams and writing technical documentationMinimum Qualifications:
      • BS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related technical subject area
      • 5+ years of demonstrable experience with engineering sophisticated Integration projects with SaaS & On-Premise applications
      • 5+ years of demonstrated experience with database query languages
      • 5+ years of strong scripting and programming skills with several modern programming languages (PHP, Python, Java, Bash, Javascript)
      • 2+ years of experience in Linux environments and bash scripting
      • Excellent written communication, problem solving, and process management skills
      • Authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basisPreferred Qualifications:
        • Magento experience
