We are currently seeking Technical Professionals who are searching for challenging and rewarding roles for the following opportunity:CGS is currently seeking a Sr. UI/UX Engineer responsible for delivering a user experience of the highest quality. Individual must have a passion and be able to take product concepts and brings them to production, integrating user interface design and function. RESPONSIBILITIES:Guide the UI development teams in effective code structure and design.Develop and ratify imaginative, appealing web and mobile prototypes using the most appropriate technologies and techniques.Lead the design/requirements team to implement user interfaces according to specifications.Serve as a leader in efforts to redesign outdated web applications in order to improve the style and usability, while adhering to corporate brand standards.Implement new features in our system from scratch and lead efforts from initial design all the way through delivery.Automate testing tools/scripting for validation of implementation.Create proof-of-concepts as necessary to demonstrate new ideas and technologies.Direct Agile teams to design and develop business applications and mobile applications to support current and future product development.Perform market research and comparative testing to evaluate the position of existing and future offerings against competitors.Create wireframes, mock-ups and prototypes for new projects.Independently perform usability analysis on existing products to improve the user experience.KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIESProficient knowledge in using AngularJS or ReactJS.Deep knowledge in using expressJs or similar NodeJS based Serverside JS framework.Expert knowledge of CSS, less or similar skinning technology.Self-motivated, critical thinker with strong technical background.Proficiency in troubleshooting/debugging issues during development lifecycle and use necessary tools to measure software quality/performance.Ability to analyze and interpret complex data.Ability to compose materials such as detailed reports, business requirements, work-related manuals, technical publications, and to make presentations in group settings.EDUCATIONBachelor of Science or Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Science or related engineering discipline preferred.5-8+ years of experience in UI development.A deep understanding of JavaScript and functional programming using JavaScript.Extensive experience in all phases of software development lifecycle: requirements analysis, tech design, implementation, code review, testing, and release.Extensive experience working within an agile environment.About CGS Business Solutions: CGS specializes in IT business solutions, staffing and consulting services.
