How will you make an impact?

We are seeking a Brand management leader to join our high performing Cell Biology marketing team to lead the Gibco cell culture brand into its next amazing decade of scientific breakthroughs. We're looking for an influential communicator who can translate our value proposition into impactful stories through creative implementations to build brand awareness, engagement and preference. This is a cross-functional and collaborative position, working closely with brand partners in a highly matrixed environment. You will work across our broad cell culture portfolio to develop and implement integrated marketing campaigns to elevate the brand and progress customers along their purchasing journey. You will have demonstrated experience getting results through your brand campaigns to deliver a strong return on investment.

What will you do?

* Lead the evolution of the Gibco brand strategy to strengthen the brand equity of the business offering and reinforce its position as the leader in cell culture media and reagents
* Measure and assess brand equity through voice of customer, market research, and sales feedback; Implement actions vital to improving performance
* Lead a team of marketing specialists focused on developing and promoting educational content to acquire new customers and drive loyalty
* Own and leverage organic social media channels (internal and external) to
* Identification and nurturing of internal and external brand advocates to amplify brand relevance and recognition through webinars, editorial contributions, conference presentations, and other channels as appropriate
* Collaborate and align with marketing, commercial and business leaders on brand and offering positioning and messaging to be incorporated into compelling marketing campaigns and new product introductions
* Own and evolve brand playbook - the brand essence, architecture, "look & feel" standards & conventions - and ensures adherence across all go-to-market activities for highest impact
* Work with key commercial and marketing leaders for the development of segment-based brand and content strategy and tools that enable the commercial organization to articulate the brand's customer value proposition
* Collaborate across the marketing team to ensure a content strategy that supports and extends the brand and business marketing initiatives, driving awareness and lead generation
* Partner with marketing teams including communications, demand generation, digital marketing, and events to build and optimize content assets to increase awareness, campaign efficiency, and lead generation
* Support and develop internal communications that demonstrate the impact of Gibco brand and products
* Budget and project management for related programs and projects

How will you get here?

Education

* Bachelor's degree required. Prefer a concentration in communications, journalism, public relations or marketing;
* Advanced degree preferred.

Experience

* 8+ years of experience as a leader in global brand marketing, thought leadership, and multi-channel content creation

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities

* Able to articulate the long-term market potential and persuasively communicate the business vision and opportunities for growth
* Ability to deeply understand the business industry landscape, positioning, and technology footprint and translate them into consumable content and compelling stories across a variety of channels
* Excellent organizational and project management skills: demonstrated end-to-end management of campaign development and execution including everything from strategy to the small details needed to implement the programs and influence stakeholder engagement
* Experience crafting compelling messages for different target demographics
* Develop and lead a team of marketers that can operate successfully across departments and functions
* A willingness to accept change and to adapt strategies on the fly
