Job Description Job Title: Heavy Civil Project Manager Location:
Irvine, CA Salary Range: Starting at $150,000 (commensurate with
experience) Overview: We are seeking an experienced Heavy Civil
Project Manager to lead a major infrastructure project. The ideal
candidate will have a proven track record managing bridge projects
valued at $50 million or more and possess strong leadership and
communication skills. Key Responsibilities: Lead and manage
large-scale bridge and heavy civil construction projects. Oversee
work related to bridges, retaining walls, grading and excavation,
concrete paving, and drainage. Collaborate with Caltrans and other
local agencies to ensure compliance and smooth project execution.
Mentor and guide a team of engineers through project planning,
scheduling, and execution. Coordinate with subcontractors and
internal crews to meet project milestones. Manage project
documentation, including correspondence with agencies via letters,
emails, and formal meetings. Qualifications: Extensive experience
managing heavy civil projects, particularly bridges over $50M.
Strong familiarity with Caltrans standards and procedures. Proven
ability to lead engineering teams and manage complex schedules.
Excellent communication and organizational skills. Experience with
agency coordination and formal project documentation. All qualified
