Job Description Job Description Career Strategies , a nationwide Property Management placement agency, is currently seeking experienced Apartment Maintenance Technicians to join our team in the Escondido, Ca area and the surrounding cities for temporary and temp-to-hire opportunities, offering a flexible schedule and weekly pay. Position Overview: As an Apartment Maintenance Technician, you’ll be responsible for keeping Apartment Communities in excellent condition. You’ll perform a variety of hands-on maintenance tasks, including: Make Readies / Apartment Turns Plumbing - sink/shower/toilet repair, replacing fixtures, unclogging drains (snaking when applicable) Electrical - replacing fixtures and switches/outlets Carpentry - patching holes, replacing doors/locks, hanging cabinetry, light touch-up painting Appliances - help with installation of W&D, stoves (when applicable), installing garbage disposals, small repairs Technician should be courteous to residents and provide realistic expectations for completed service requests/work orders Requirements: At least 6 months Maintenance Experience in Residential, Apartments, Hotels or Private Homes General knowledge of ALL aspects of maintenance repair, drywall repair plumbing, electrical, and all appliance care Must have personal hand tools and drill - bring to site daily; do not leave at property Must have reliable transportation Must be willing to travel up to 15-25 miles a day Ability to communicate well and work in a team/solo environment High attention to detail Clear communication and ability to follow directions Positive attitude with a strong work ethic and willingness to learn HVAC, EPA, CPO or CFC Certification a plus What We Offer: Pay Range: $22–$24/hour (Depending on Experience and Community) Weekly Pay – Reliable, on-time compensation Flexible Scheduling Additional Information: All applicants must be eligible to work in the U.S. and will undergo a background check Equal Opportunity Employer Apply Today: If you meet the requirements and are ready to take the next step in your maintenance career, send us your resume.
