The Sr. Brand Marketing Manager helps build the Ingram Micro brand by raising awareness and generating demand for assigned Ingram Micro lines of business. The Sr. Brand Marketing Manager works across all levels and departments of our organization to find what makes Ingram Micro lines of business unique, and communicate it to internal and external audiences. The Sr. Brand Marketing Manager uncovers consumer insights and plans and delivers innovative marketing campaigns. The Sr. Brand Marketing Manager's main objective is to maximize customer engagement, and improve the customer experience, for assigned Ingram Micro lines of business. The Sr. Brand Marketing Manager is a creative thinker, possesses a strategic mindset, and has deep experience in writing and implementing targeted marketing campaigns. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Lead and facilitate the marketing plan designed to meet the business unit's goals/objectives and create a strategic road map for the business * Analyze brand positioning and consumer insights for assigned lines of business * Lead and facilitate the marketing plan designed to meet the business unit's goals/objectives and create a strategic road map for the business * Translate brand position elements into plans and go-to-market strategies * Work closely with the creative, digital marketing and events teams to develop and execute tactics that motivate our target audiences to take action * Establish performance specifications, cost and price parameters, market applications and sales estimates * Measure and report performance of all marketing campaigns, and assess ROI and KPIs * Monitor market trends, research consumer markets and competitors' activities * Oversee new and ongoing marketing and advertising activities * Align assigned lines of business to the corporate brand strategy and direction * Conduct customer and marketplace research regularly, and represent the voice of the Ingram Micro customer in all marketing plans * Partner with other Ingram functional teams (Finance, Technical Support, Services, etc.) to better understand how they support your marketing initiatives * Act as SME on all AIM offerings in order to construct strategic, holistic marketing plans directed at focus manufacturers. * Work closely with vendor Account Managers, Program Managers and Client Services Managers to align marketing plans with single- and multi-vendor marketing plans * Manage internal marketing budget as determined by BU leadership to cover hard costs for marketing pans, association fees/dues as well as sponsorship for focus manufacturers' initiatives * Research, foster and maintain industry Association Partnerships to ensure we are positioned correctly and content is relevant to our industry and markets * Integrate acquired companies into the holistic marketing plan for the business and maximize resources internally at those companies to drive synergies as outlined by the business * Plan and conduct quarterly internal marketing reviews * Direct and drive content into proprietary marketing programs and vehicles (Partner Track, Partner Connect, TXA, SMBA, etc.) JOB QUALIFICATIONS: * High degree of business acumen * Outstanding communication and presentation skills * Team player, positive representation of the Ingram Micro brand * Clear communicator, details next steps & holds others accountable * "Big & disruptive" thinker, challenges the status quo and makes noise for the Ingram Micro value add in the market * Proven working experience as Sr. Brand Marketing Manager or client-side marketing manager * Proven ability to develop brand communication and marketing strategies, and communicate recommendations to executives * Experience in identifying target audiences and devising effective campaigns * Excellent understanding of the full marketing mix * Strong analytical skills partnered with a creative mind * Data-driven thinking and an affinity for numbers Education and Experience requirements: * Formal education or training: Bachelor's degree or higher in Marketing, Advertising, Communications or relevant degree, and/or ample and proven experience and success in related field. * Previous work experience: 5-7 years of experience in Marketing, preferably in a large company environment or a Marketing agency environment. A basic understanding of the IT industry and distribution channel preferred. Knowledge, skills and abilities required: * Knowledgeable in: Digital Media, Search, SEO/SEM, Paid Social, Owned, Earned, Web, Email, Mobile, Marketing Automation and CRM * Skilled in: Marketing, branding, advertising, demand generation strategy, creative process, consulting, client management, problem solving, project management, interpersonal communications, negotiation and persuasion, corporate culture, presentations, agency pitches, executive-level communication and client relationship management. * Excellent verbal and written communication skills, ability to communicate with executive level associates internally and externally in an articulate and professional manner. * Ability to practices discretion and understand appropriateness of communication and behavior, ability to present to large and small audiences. * Ability to: provide leadership and direction to the other team members, demonstrate business and financial acumen, develop strategic marketing plans, track and manage strategic plans, respond to rapid change, manage multiple projects simultaneously, implement recommendations and see projects through to completion, to work both independently and as a team member.
