MKS Instruments Photonics Solutions division. We provide a full
range of solutions including lasers for precision industrial and
scientific research applications, laser and LED measurement, beam
profiling, precision motion control, optical tables and vibration
isolation systems, photonics instruments, temperature sensing,
opto-mechanical components, optical elements, and systems for
flexible PCB laser processing, high-speed MLCC testing, and
CO2-laser-based systems HDI PCB and IC substrate manufacturing. MKS
Photonics Solutions enhance our customers' capabilities and
productivity in the semiconductor, advanced electronics and
specialty industrial markets.As a Marketing Manager, Sustaining
Products, Optical you will play a pivotal role in shaping the
future of our optics and optical systems products. You will be
responsible for leading cross-functional teams, collaborating
closely with sales, design engineering, manufacturing, and supply
chain, and ensuring that our product portfolio aligns with market
demands and customer needs. Your expertise in optics, optical
assemblies, and systems will be critical in achieving our strategic
objectives.Key Responsibilities:
- Product Lifecycle Management: Oversee the growth, sustaining
and end-of-life phase of the product lifecycle. Ensure products are
optimized for performance, quality, and cost.
- Customer Collaboration: Work closely with the sales team and
customers to gain a deep understanding of product requirements and
identify latent needs, translating them into actionable product
plans.
- Cross-Functional Coordination: Interface with design
engineering, manufacturing, and supply chain teams to develop
high-level product plans, ensuring alignment with company goals and
capabilities.
- KPI Monitoring and Reporting: Implement and maintain a
comprehensive system for monitoring and reporting Key Performance
Indicators (KPIs) related to product performance and quality.
Regularly assess and analyze KPI data to identify trends and
opportunities for improvement and communicate findings to relevant
stakeholders.
- Risk Assessment: Identify potential risks and challenges
related to product roadmaps and implementation. Develop risk
mitigation strategies to ensure product performance.
- Technical Expertise: Remain at the forefront of optics, optical
assemblies, and systems technology and processes, continuously
enhancing your knowledge base to inform product decisions.
- Data-Driven Decision Making: Employ a data-driven approach to
inform decision-making and problem-solving across all aspects of
product management.
- Product Planning: Create comprehensive product plans and
customer proposals that articulate the value proposition of our
optical products.
- Budget Management: Develop and manage budgets for product
roadmap activities. Monitor and control project expenses to ensure
they align with financial objectives.What You Bring to the Team:
- Bachelor's degree in Physics, Electronics, Optics, Electrical,
Mechanical Engineering, or other applicable technical fields.
- 6+ years of experience in leading projects and cross-functional
teams, including roles such as project management, engineering
lead, or supply chain engineering. Will consider a mix of advanced
education, research and on the job experience.
- 3 + years of experience in an engineering role related to
optics or photonics products. Development of complex optical
assemblies and systems.
- Effective communication and presentation skills suitable for
executive-level discussions. Strong experience preparing
dashboards, presentations for customers and management teams.
- Advanced MS Office Skills:
- Excel: able to do Vlookups, advanced formulas, pivot
tables
- PowerPoint: create professional presentation suitable for
presentations at the executive level
- Up to 10% international travelWe are interested in a qualified

do business. Compensation and Benefits:Salary Pay Range: $97,300 to
$180,700 per year. This range is a good faith estimate of the
expected salary range for this position, based on a wide range of
factors including qualifications, experience and training,
operational and business needs and other considerations permitted
by MKS, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near
the top of the range for the role.Bonus: This position is eligible
for a discretionary annual bonus, in an amount to be determined by
