Designer will be tasked with the design and execution of product
marketing assets aligning to the brand guidelines. The Marketing
Designer will work closely with the product marketing team on
creating world-class product campaigns and marketing toolkits for a
broad spectrum of retail environments, digital marketing
activities, print advertising, and sales enablement activities.
(This role sits within the Product Marketing organization.)The
ideal Designer must be able to manage several projects
simultaneously with cross-functional collaboration. The ideal
candidate will be resourceful, adaptable, and results oriented with
high energy and a positive attitude.Essential Duties And
Responsibilities
- Create marketing assets for product and brand-level campaigns:
digital banners, print ads, in-store signage, sales collateral
- Align to brand guidelines for a consistent visual language
across all design work, while optimizing creative for each
channel/activity
- Ability to work on large brand campaigns and smaller production
design to support several projects simultaneously
- Work with product marketing and internal partners directly to
communicate and resolve implementation issuesQualificationsREQUIRED
QUALIFICATIONS:
- 5+ years of relevant experience in a graphic design, branded
architecture and experiential design with a major retail company or
design agency.
- Outstanding design vision with experience delivering innovative
consumer engagement experiences.
- Ability to communicate design ideas and concepts effectively to
cross-functional teams.
- Strong people skills, diplomacy and collaboration.
- Ability to project manage working on a variety of projects at
the same time.
- Ability to learn and adapt quickly and work in a constantly
evolving environment.
- Computer skills/software: Expert in Adobe CC (specifically
Illustrator), and other applications including Photoshop, Acrobat

- An employee's pay position within the salary range may be based
on several factors including but not limited to (1) relevant
education; qualifications; certifications; and experience; (2)
skills, ability, knowledge of the job; (3) performance,
contribution and results; (4) geographic location; (5) shift; (6)
internal and external equity; and (7) business and organizational
needs.
- The salary range is what we believe to be the range of possible
compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may
ultimately pay more or less than the posted range and this range is
only applicable for jobs to be performed in Colorado or remote jobs
that can be performed in Colorado. This range may be modified in
the future.
- You will also be eligible to participate in Western Digital's
Short-Term Incentive (STI) Plan and to receive equity awards under
our annual Long-Term Incentive (LTI) program, which consists of
restricted stock units (RSUs), pursuant to the terms of these
programs. RSU awards are also available to eligible new hires,
subject to Western Digital's Standard Terms and Conditions for
Restricted Stock Unit Awards.
