Job Description:
We want to pay you to be on your phone all day. The Social Media
Manager will be responsible for planning, execution, and management
of Igloo's social media strategy. We are searching for a social
media expert to execute our strategy, exceed our goals, and win
hearts and minds of our existing and new fans. The perfect
candidate will be familiar with all social platforms, understand
nuance between them, and plan the right content and fan
interactions on each. The Social Media Manager must be able to
assist in creation of strategy, but also scrappy enough to execute
posting content and interacting with fans. They will have the
support of the entire marketing organization and manage one
exclusive social content creator.
- Plan and publish content for all Igloo social platforms
- Must exhibit clear expertise with Facebook and Instagram
- Must have high proficiency with Youtube, Twitter, TikTok,
Linkedin, Pinterest
- In-house leader of social media, will brief marketing and
broader organization on plans and results
- Support brand and marketing teams in executing GTM
calendar
- Exceed goals for growth of fanbase and referral traffic to
brand ecommerce site
- Manage Content Producer, write and assign project briefs
- Produce and maintain content calendar, provide access to team
members
- Interact with other social media accounts on behalf of
Igloo
- Be first line of customer service, responding to messages and
creating customer service tickets
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Marketing,
Communications, or similar field
- 3 years experience managing corporate social media
accounts
- Proven ability to scale social media fan bases
- Strong communication, research, and presentation skills
- Expertise with all major social media platforms
- Proficient in project management software such as Asana and
Trello
- Proficient in communications software such as Microsoft
Teams
- Must align with Igloo brand values
- Clear understanding of Igloo copywriting guidelines Preferred
