Job Description:

Vaco Orange County is a leading provider of accounting and finance consulting services. We are looking for a Senior Accountant to join our client's team in Anaheim, CA.Job Responsibilities:

• Preparing and reviewing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports
• Performing monthly close activities, including journal entries, reconciliations, accruals, and allocations
• Supporting the consolidation process for multiple entities and intercompany transactions
• Prepare and assist in review of monthly balance sheet and income statement variance analysis
• Maintaining and updating the general ledger and chart of accounts
• Ensuring compliance with GAAP and internal controls
• Assisting with audits, tax filings, and special projects as needed
• Working with various accounting systems and software, such asSAGE 100, QuickBooks, Excel, etc.Job Qualifications:
  • A bachelor's degree in accounting or related field required
  • At least 5 years of accounting experience
  • Big company experience and exposure to complex accounting issues
  • Knowledge of Sage 100, SQL, & SOX 404
  • CPA or CPA candidate is a plus
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards
  • Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills
