Job Description:

Advise multinational enterprises on business decisions, such as where to locate and operate, choice of entity, how to optimize supply chains, and how to access and mobilize capital to fund global operations, taking into account risk profile, global effective tax rate, and cash posture. Prepare and review complex tax models illustrating multinational entities' attributes, effective tax rate, and cash tax expense. Advise multinational enterprises on tax planning decisions, including potential short and long-term considerations and consequences of tax planning decisions at a global level. Structure the tax aspects of multinationals' private equity and strategic mergers, acquisitions, joint ventures, dispositions, and IPOs. Draft tax opinions, memos, structure decks, and Excel models that illustrate the tax benefits of alternative structures. Assist multinational enterprises with preparing tax provisions for financial statements. Prepare and review compliance work product. Assist KPMG audit teams with reviewing companies' financial reporting of tax implications arising from global operations and transactions. Advise clients on income tax treaty planning opportunities arising from inbound and outbound cross-border investing and trading activities. Provide alternative investment companies, including asset managers and portfolio companies operating globally, with tax guidance at all stages of the investment life cycle. Assist with business development for the expansion of tax services for new and existing clients. Lead multiple client engagements. Supervise, train, and develop client service team members providing tax services.WORK SCHEDULE: 40 hours per week, M-F (9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.)JOB REQUIREMENTS:Must have a Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Accounting, Law, Finance, Taxation, Economics, Business Administration, Commerce, or a related field, and 3 years of related work experience; OR a Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Accounting, Law, Finance, Taxation, Economics, Business Administration, Commerce, or a related field, and 7 years of post-bachelor's, progressive related work experience.Of the required experience, must have 3 years of experience with the following: international, mergers and acquisitions, and federal tax planning; international and domestic tax law provisions; Intellectual property planning, Intercompany transaction structuring and Legal entity structuring.Employer will accept any suitable combination of education, training, or experience.QUALIFIED APPLICANTS:Apply online at https://www.kpmguscareers.com/job-search and type requisition number 112438 in the keyword search box for Experienced Professionals.
