The Opportunity Marvell Semiconductor is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Vice President of Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) to join our dynamic team. As the VP of FP&A, you will play a critical role in leading and overseeing the financial planning, forecasting, and analysis functions of the company. This is a hands-on leadership position, requiring deep financial expertise and strong strategic thinking capabilities. Job Responsibilities: Lead the overall financial planning and analysis function, driving accurate and timely financial reporting, forecasting, and analysis. Develop and maintain financial models, forecasts, and budgets to support strategic decision-making and business planning processes. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze financial data, identify trends, and provide insightful recommendations to senior management for business improvement. Oversee the preparation of financial reports, including monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, and provide a comprehensive analysis of the company's financial performance. Provide strategic financial guidance to senior management, including financial risk assessment, investment opportunities, and cost optimization strategies. Lead the annual budgeting process and ensure strategic objectives and financial targets are aligned. Monitor and analyze key financial and operational metrics, identify areas of concern, and develop action plans to address any issues or opportunities. Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the FP&A function to enhance efficiency and effectiveness of processes and tools. Stay updated on industry trends, regulatory changes, and best financial planning and analysis practices to ensure compliance and maximize performance. Manage and develop a high-performing FP&A team, providing mentorship, guidance, and career development opportunities. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. A Master's degree or CPA qualification is highly desirable. Minimum of 12 years of progressive experience in financial planning and analysis, with at least 5 years in a leadership capacity. Experience in the semiconductor or technology industry is required, with a solid understanding of industry dynamics and key performance drivers. Extensive knowledge of financial modeling, forecasting, budgeting, and analysis techniques. Strong business acumen with the ability to link financial results to operational performance and strategic initiatives. Proven track record of successfully leading financial planning and analysis functions in a fast-paced, global organization. Exceptional analytical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to extract meaningful insights from complex financial data. Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey financial information to both financial and non-financial stakeholders effectively. Strong leadership abilities with a collaborative and proactive approach to problem-solving. Proficient in financial management systems and tools, including ERP systems, financial modeling software, and data visualization tools. Expected Base Pay Range (USD) 250,000 - 310,000, $ per annum The successful candidates starting base pay will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location and market conditions. The expected base pay range for this role may be modified based on market conditions.
