We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Senior Revenue Accountant with a focus on Customer Programs to join our accounting team. As a Senior Revenue Accountant at Linksys, you will play a meaningful role in ensuring accurate and compliant revenue recognition practices, with a specific focus on managing rebate and discount programs.In this role, you'll ensure the accuracy and timeliness of various rebate and discount programs by tracking sales, calculating accruals, and evaluating customer claims for funds. You'll also help analyze profitability by customer by maintaining existing reports and developing new reports as necessary.To meet the variety of needs and preferences of our team, this position will be hybrid. Due to the responsibilities associated with this specific position, this individual will travel to our Irvine office at least 3 days a week and work remotely during other times.Responsibilities:Track and manage customer rebates and discounts in the system.Perform monthly accounting for revenue programs: set up new program accruals, run program analysis, prepare journal entries, run reports, and analyze results.Review and understand contract and agreement terms used for the basis of the discount programs and allowance accruals for each assigned customer.Research customer requests for credits, authorize payments, and code to appropriate general ledger and rebate numbers in a timely manner.Respond to customer audits by researching audit claims against company records to reconcile and validate and funds claimed.Maintain and analyze various customer profitability reports.Participate in the monthly close cycle, ensuring all cutoffs and deadlines are met.Qualifications:Four-year degree in Accounting or Finance2+ years of experience in a professional accounting environmentAudit experience a plusCPA a plusProficiency in MS Office and advanced Excel functionality (e.g., pivot tables, vLOOKUP formulas, etc.)Strong organizational, analytical and interpersonal skillsAbility to adapt in a fast-changing environment and contribute to process improvementIn the US, the annual base salary range for this position is $82,000 - $100,000. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only.
