The position requires a completed Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance and an active CPA.Job Overview:Responsibilities include the financial and operational accounting, cash management, audit/tax coordination for multiple apartment home funds, including financial statement preparation and account analysisJob Tasks and Responsibilities:Ensure accurate and timely monthly, quarterly and year end close for a large multi-family portfolio including GAAP entries and reportingEnsure financial records are maintained in compliance with accepted policies and proceduresEnsure all financial reporting deadlines are metCoordination of year-end audits and tax preparation, including financial statement preparation and reviewCash management of fundsTrain and mentor accounting teamAdditional projects as neededPosition reports to the ControllerPosition is expected to be in the office, but will also need to be able to work remotelyExperience/Education RequirementsAccounting/Finance degree required4-6 years public accounting experienceCPA requiredYardi experience a plusDetail-oriented and organizedProficient user of Excel
