We cater logistics strategies and processes to our customers' needs by utilizing the latest information systems and advanced technologies.SummaryThe Senior Analyst, Accounting position will validate, analyze, and confirm revenue and cost, and perform month-end closing. In addition, this position will prepare reports and perform analysis, as well as adopt and implement Accounting Systems and other supportive tools.ResponsibilitiesValidate, Analyze, and Confirm Revenue and CostCompiles and analyzes detailed revenue information and ensure the accuracy and proper revenue / cost recognitionNotify HQ Billing / Logistics or other departments if any errors are found and any correction is requiredMonitor and confirm if the correct rate has been applied to all Standard and Non Standard transactions in SAPPerform reconciliation on SAP transactions with other operational systemMonitor billing activities and advise related departments with any unbilled items through the accounting systemIdentify resolutions to accounting delinquencies and pursue to bill in timely mannerSupport and give advice to other departments and local management on processing and determining correct General Ledger when Accounts Receivable/ Accounts Payable entries are transmitted accordingly to the SAP systemMonth-End ClosingMonitor revenue and ensure cost entries are posted accordingly by cut-off dateAnalyze service completion data, decide revenue and cost according to accrual base, and apply to month end closing practiceValidate revenue and cost accrual from local ports and operation comparing to AR/AP contracts and service completionComplete month end closing worksheets with variance analysisPost-month follow up with reconciling accrued revenue and cost with actual invoices postedReporting & AnalyticsPrepare Profit and Loss analysis monthly, quarterly, and yearlySupport management team, Glovis Korea, and Auditors with various reports or analysisRed folder Analysis - provide P&L analysis for customer/vendor contact updatesCompensation Range$60,000-$70,000 AnnuallyBenefits of working at Hyundai GLOVIS America Inc.Medical InsuranceVision InsuranceDental InsuranceHealth Care & Dependent Care Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA)Basic Life and AD&D as well as Short-Term & Long-Term DisabilityPaid Vacation, Holidays, and Sick leavePet InsuranceHospital and Critical Illness InsuranceWellness Program and Gym Reimbursement 401(k) with Generous MatchingReferral Bonuses Auto Allowance Quarterly Employee Lunches, Summer Refreshments, and Monthly Team Building Activities Discretionary Bonuses Tuition Reimbursement Benefits may vary by location.
