REPORTS TO: CONTROLLER

STATUS: EXEMPT

PAY RANGE: $90,000.00 - $110,000.00/ Year

*compensation varies based on geography, skills, experience, and tenure

The Financial Reporting Manager will report to the Contoller and will be directly responsible for managing the preparation of our SEC filings, including 10-Qs and 10-Ks, and coordination with our legal team with respect to the Proxy Statement and other miscellaneous 8-K filings. Additionally, the Financial Reporting Manager will be responsible for internal reporting, assisting with the preparation of earnings releases, assisting both the internal and external audit process, and assisting and coordinating stock administration activities. The Financial Reporting Manager is expected to effectively interact with the other departments that contribute to the preparation of SEC filings. Current knowledge of US GAAP, proposed accounting pronouncements, SOX, COSO and PCAOB requirements is critical for success.

Responsibilities

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Prepare the Quarterly Reports on Form 10-Q and Annual Reports on Form 10-K and manage the internal and external review of these documents
  • Responsible for the preparation of XBRL filings
  • Assist with the preparation of quarterly earnings releases and validate financial information included in those documents
  • Provide and review financial disclosures in the Proxy Statement
  • Liaison with external auditors and assist with the audit process to ensure timely completion within budget
  • Ensure compliance with SOX internal controls and assist with managing the internal audit process
  • Perform financial due diligence and manage accounting integration for acquisitions; manage valuations for purchase accounting or impairment testing
  • Coordinate and execute all stock administration activities and provide accounting for all stock-based compensation arrangements
  • Research, conclude and document technical accounting issues as they arise
  • Manage the CEO and CFO certification process
  • Complete ad hoc special projects as needed
  • Assist with supervisory responsibilities within the department

      Qualifications

      Qualifications
      • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or related field
      • 3+ years of Big 4 experience auditing public companies or a total of 3+ years consisting of both Big 4 and public company industry experience
      • CPA certification in process or CPA license required
      • Good computer skills: Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
      • Strong knowledge of US GAAP, SEC Reporting, SOX and COSO
      • Strong leadership and project and time management skills; ability to interact with management
