The Accountant will support the general ledger team. The Accountant will primarily be responsible for accounting for cash and performing routine accounting tasks requiring a basic understanding of accounting principles. This position reports to the General Ledger Manager and is located in Irvine, California. Preview and record daily cash transactions to the appropriate general ledger accounts. Researches and recommends solutions to resolve open bank items. Participate in the month-end close process by preparing journal entries and account reconciliations. Prepare and file sales and use tax returns. Effectively partner with the Treasury and Accounts Payable functions. Perform various SAP uploads related to purchasing and travel cards. Manage the recurring entry and reversing journal entry processes in SAP. Participate in ad hoc analysis and special projects as necessary. Skills Required
2+ years of accounting experience. Team player with strong communication and organization skills. Strong attention to detail and ability to meet assigned deadlines.
