• Oversee and manage the general accounting functions, including, but not limited to: accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger maintenance, payroll, and taxes
• Establish and enforce proper accounting methods, policies, and principles
• Maintaining accurate and complete financial records and participating in audits or reconciliations, as needed.
• Assistance with the annual budget and audit process
• Quarterly sales tax returns filing
• Prepare annual 1099's
• Prepare, review, and analyze financial statements to ensure accuracy and completeness
• Recommends financial actions by analyzing accounting options
• Analyzing investments to provide effective recommendations
• Maintains customer confidence and protects operations by keeping financial information confidential
• Hiring, training, and supervising accounting staffQualifications: -* Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field
  • 5+ years of progressive accounting experience with a portion of it being in a supervisory role
  • Advanced accounting and bookkeeping software experience (NetSuite and QuickBooks)
  • Attention to detail and the ability to analyze large amounts of data
