Apply today to become a part of our fun, challenging, and dynamic Greenhouse family.Job Summary:Greenhouse Agency (GH) is seeking a Finance Manager to support the Finance team with responsibility for the accounting and finance operations of the company, to include the production of periodic financial reports, maintenance of accounting records, and a comprehensive set of controls and budgets designed to mitigate risk, enhance the accuracy of the company's reported financial results, and ensure that reported results comply with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP).This position must demonstrate the ability to manage the company budgets and optimize company finances while collaborating with a dynamic team of accountants. Our ideal candidate is strategic, experienced, and takes ownership of their contributions to the company's success.The Finance Manager will be supported by and report to company fractional CFO, SVP Operations/Integration, and CPA/Tax consultants. The Finance Manager will every opportunity for growth and career advancement.Primary Responsibilities/Activities:Financial Transactions:* Accounting processes and procedures including AR, AP, treasury management, risk management, cash flow, and account reconciliation * Manage overall company budget, and cash flow * Complete accruals, and general ledger entries * Ensure that accounts payable are paid in a timely manner* Ensure that accounts receivables are collected promptly* Prepare and process bi-weekly payroll in a timely manner* Ensure that bank reconciliations are completed* Maintain the chart of accounts* Maintain an orderly accounting filing system* Create processes to ensure efficiency and accuracy in all accounting systems* Maintain a system of controls over accounting transactions* Manage and develop the accounting staff Reporting:* Coordinate and direct the preparation of the budget and financial forecasts and report variances* Ensure all financial reports and departments are in compliance with GAAP and all local, state, and federal government reporting/tax processes * Issue timely and complete financial statements* Coordinate the preparation of the corporate annual report* Coordinate the preparation of annual tax return and supporting paperwork with outside CPA partner* Manage the production of the annual budgets and forecasts* Calculate variances in client or Greenhouse respective budgets and report significant issues to respective stakeholders* Provide for a system of management cost reportsAnalytical Skills Requirements:Business Analytics:* Ability to identify & understand issues, problems, & opportunities* Present comparison of data from different sources to draw conclusions* Use effective approaches for developing appropriate solutionsLong-Term/Broad Perspective:* Ability to establish & forecast an efficient course of action to accomplish a long-range goal or vision * Incorporate analysis of factual information & assumptions to produce strategy to meet goals or vision * Acknowledge resources, constraints, and organizational values when planning course of action Strong Communication Skills:* Clearly & succinctly convey information to diverse audiences * Provides effective and succinct communication that drives others' thoughts & actionsRequired Competencies:* Strong management skills * Possess high level of professionalism * Must be deadline-focused and detail-oriented * Ability to make financial decisions for benefit of the company Minimum Requirements: * Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field* 3+ years of accounting experience* 3+ years of experience in QKBKS and/or ERP related software systems (i.e. Concur)* Exceptional computer skills in the operation and functioning of all programs used by the company, i.e., Microsoft Word, Excel, Powerpoint, and ADP payroll software* Agency or professional services experience preferred * Excellent communication skills, written and verbalAdditional Comments: Further success factors include: * Collaboration: Demonstrates ability to work on projects with cross-functional teams to meet consensus goals* Accountability: Works autonomously and delivers against necessary company needs* Entrepreneurial Approach: Thinks constantly about creating innovative, non-traditional ways to improve* Professional Demeanor: Is timely for all meetings, well dressed, always practices responsible drinking habits, and prepares for meetings in advance* Planning and Implementation: Demonstrates ability to independently plan and implement company procedures that have been developed internally* Communication: Provides constant communication with entire company workforce, vendors, third parties, clients, employees, and partners.
